Someone said that art helps us to live in the hours of peace, and in the hours of war - to survive. So, despite the explosions and sirens, we create music and movies, paint pictures, read books and visit theaters and museums. We are living.
... Is it appropriate to sing when a fierce war is going on, not for life, but for death? Not only appropriate, but also necessary! This is the phenomenon of Ukrainians that the song creativity of the national-liberation direction has been imprinted in the mental foundation of our people since ancient times and the struggle for independence have ancient roots dating back centuries. When it hurts - the song will ease the suffering; when it's scary - the song will give courage; when it's bitter and sad - the song will take away the pain in our heart...
