En el aspecto cinematográfico, Villar ha colaborado con grandes figuras artística del cine dominicano. Su colaboración en el proyecto Ladrones a Domicilio de Angel Muñiz; lo llevó a desempeñarse como Director de Fotografía del documental La Madrastra de Uldanelis Capell y el cortometraje El Vacío que Esteban dejó de @lilytaverasss todos filmados en la República Dominicana.
