THE 100 MILE JACKET, 9min,. Canada, Documentary
Directed by Jamie Day Fleck
The 100 Mile Jacket shows what it could look like if you met each person on the journey of a wool garment from sheep to finished product. Each artisan that touches this garment changes it into its final creation using age-old techniques and handmade expertise. The final piece is a product of history or perhaps a look forward in time with local natural fibre production as an integral part of a more sustainable future.
