See You is an artistic look into a refugee camp. Mimeartist Helle Fuglsang spent 4 weeks in Lesbos, capturing 19 almost word-less scenes giving you an intimate and poetic look into the strengths and struggles of everyday life behind the fence:

What motivated you to make this film?

It is always on my mind to set the human potential free. With the refugee camps I just see such a waste of lives, that could be lived in a more beneficial way, not just for the people inside the camps but for all of us. We are all loosing out.

2. From the idea to the finished product, how long did it take for you to make this film?

About a year.

3. How would you describe your film in two words!?

Refugees and creativity.

4. What was the biggest obstacle you faced in completing this film?

The whole system around the refugees was hard to deal with. As soon as I managed to get acces to the refugees themselves there was not any problems.

5. What were your initial reactions when watching the audience talking about your film in the feedback video?

I felt very touched that the audience really seemed to see the refugees - more or less the same way I see them.

6. When did you realize that you wanted to make films?

I have been a performer all my life. Over the last 10 years I have started using film in my performances, and this is my first feature film.

7. What film have you seen the most in your life?

Pulp Fiction

8. What other elements of the festival experience can we and other festivals implement to satisfy you and help you further your filmmaking career?

10. What is your favorite meal?

I think food is overvalue ;)

11. What is next for you? A new film?

I am working on a docu-fiction feature film called The Abyss, about a woman's fight for freedom, loosely based on a silent movie star Asta Nielsen.
