Oporajeo is the story of the survivors of the deadliest garment crisis in Bangladesh history. In wake of the horrific Rana Plaza factory collapse in 2013, killing over 1,100 garment workers, Kazi Hossain took action. Fueled by trauma and a desire to see fundamental change in factory working conditions and ethics, he founded Oporajeo Enterprises. A small workshop producing artisanal jute handbags and providing workers a safer and more secure future.
