Director Statement
"Frame of Mind" is an exploration of the intricacies of love, loss, and the journey of navigating through the labyrinth of memory and grief. At its core, this film is a deeply personal reflection on the universal experience of grappling with the absence of loved ones and the profound impact they leave behind.
Inspired by the poignant loss of a dear friend to breast cancer, "Frame of Mind" is a tribute not only to her memory but to all those who have departed from our lives too soon. Their presence continues to resonate within us, their memories etched in the fabric of our being.
As we delve into the depths of grief and remembrance, each frame of this film is infused with the raw emotions of love and longing. Through "Frame of Mind," we seek to honor the memory of our friend and to pay homage to the countless souls who have been taken from us prematurely. Their absence is felt keenly, their presence lingering in the spaces between our thoughts and memories.
In crafting this film, we were guided by a deep sense of reverence for the profound impact these individuals have had on our lives. Their laughter, and their love continue to echo through the corridors of our hearts, reminding us of the beauty and fragility of life.
May "Frame of Mind" serve as a beacon of solace and understanding for all who have experienced the pain of loss. May it offer a glimpse into the complex interplay of love and grief, and ultimately, inspire us to cherish each moment we have with those we hold dear.
With love and remembrance,
Aleksandra Kardalevska
