Director Statement
It is with a childlike excitement that I present my newly completed short film, "Dwindle."
The creative journey I embarked upon when I was just twelve years old (for reference, I am thirty-four now) has come full circle with this project. I began with a love of fantasy, and here that love comes into its own with a fairytale story that encapsulates so much of what it means to grow up, to move on, to let things go.
I’d like to thank my incredible creative team for the astonishing work they’ve done on this. We are as indie as indie gets, cobbling together projects on the weekends between our day jobs with whatever cash we can spare. Everyone who showed up to work came because of a deep love of the art. Every single individual who appears in the credits of this film deserves a big hand, a big win, and a big future.
It was a taxing and difficult project, but one that we’re incredibly proud to share. We cannot wait for the world to see “Dwindle,” and we hope that everyone who watches it finds themselves impacted by the experience.
