CARTER, 14min., USA, Drama
Directed by Aaron Guest
A lonesome 16-year-old investigates his older brother’s ultra-masculine facade and the role it plays within their troubled family.
Director Statement
In a time when many are attempting to silence LGBTQ+ youth, CARTER seeks to influence a world where society celebrates all of our unique voices, allowing every child and adult to freely discover who they are and who they want to be.
By creating and promoting stories like CARTER - with sensitive, empathetic young individuals at the forefront - we hope to encourage audiences to look beyond the facades we put on. Let's give space to the parts of us and our loved ones left unheard.
