Director Statement
Movies for me have always been an outlet toward what I call 'The More', i.e. the mystery of what's out there. I have often felt that I am on a search, and movies are literally a visual outlet of my quest. I work out life's mysteries through them. Storytelling comes out of a personal need, it's not a casual choice. At the end of the day it's come down to this: I am happiest when I am devoting my time to telling stories, and I am unhappy when I am not. No matter what level of success I ultimately achieve, it has always ALWAYS felt like time well spent.
