Director Statement

I wrote this story with Agent 004 in mind: the big Jim spy who changes his head. This character fascinated me and I invented several stories when I was a child with this toy.

I transposed this concept into the real world, but in a non-linear, fragmented way: like characters who live inside Morgana (the main character of the film) and who suddenly switch like this toy that changes its head when you move its arm. The challenge of this film, of this story, is to dive into the world of Morgana and her alters, without any temporal reference point, to reconstruct her story, to put all the pieces of the puzzle back in order.

She is investigating herself, the origins of her obsession: the one-eyed man.

My idea would be a condensed version of 3 films that inspired me to write this story: Coppola's The Conversation, for Gene Hackman's obsession and Coppola's reconstruction work via sound.

Nolan's Memento, for the temporal breakdown of the narrative.
And Split by M.Night Shymalan, for his work on dissociative identity disorder

This story allows me to evolve in a spy movie atmosphere, to create a temporal web in which the spectator and the character are suspended, to combine entertainment with a political background. And to " create " a new form of visual writing.

A film that is fun in its form and deep in its artistic way.

I am a director with a passion for cinema since I was a child. The genre I prefer is the thriller, it allows me to create tension, to advance a story, to reveal characters, to build them, to shape them, to project them in ambivalent and dangerous situations... And it allows the spectators to be captivated by pleasure, by shivers.

With this genre, the film expresses itself graphically, giving birth to atmospheres and a universe. A style specific to each director.
