Writer Statement
CONCEPTUS is currently a 5-star reviewed novel on Amazon. The story began as a screenplay, and then when Covid was in full swing, I expanded the script into a novel.
The main character, Detective Laura Drummond, is a complex, strong, and passionate hero. it's her story, and she drives the narrative.
The plot tackles issues that are supremely relevant today, a woman's right to her productive health, same-sex relationships, and the question of nature vs. nurture.
In Conceptus, I want to explore these themes in an exciting, visceral, and entertaining package.
