Get to know writer Maggie Arias:
1. What is your screenplay about?
It's about an actress living in Los Angeles, struggling to make ends meet. Wanting more financial security and freedom with her time to go to auditions, acting classes, etc, she ventures into the world of "Babying."
2. What genres does your screenplay fall under?
Comedy
3. Why should this screenplay be made into a movie?
It's a very relevant and relatable topic right now. Just about everyone in LA has either done it themselves or has a friend that has, so I believe it would resonate with people living in cities like LA.
4. How would you describe this script in two words?
Parent friendly!
5. What movie have you seen the most times in your life?
The Graduate
6. How long have you been working on this screenplay?
About a year
7. How many stories have you written?
Stories? Too many to count. Screenplays? Like 6.
8. What is your favorite song? (Or, what song have you listened to the most times in your life?)
According to Spotify, "Here I am to Worship" (my mom had access to my account for too long before getting her own)
9. What obstacles did you face to finish this screenplay?
Literally just clinical depression lol
10. Apart from writing, what else are you passionate about?
My dog and my career. Sometimes sex. That's about it.
