Director Statement
I was inspired to make Dysmorphia by my own twenty year struggle with anorexia. In the film we explore the horrors women put themselves through for acceptance. I believe in the power of the horror genre to spark vital conversations about difficult topics while enjoying scares along the way! We hope our spark ignites an understanding that every woman deserves to feel safe in her body.
