WHISPERS FROM THE MOUNTAIN TOPS, 7min., China
Directed by Die Meng
Photographers are obsessed with nature, and they are returning to it as they are after all nourished by nature. They stay true to their pursuit of the meaning and impact of photographs. We joined a photographer to explore the vastness and the unknown beauty of Mt Siguniang hoping to take some documentary and artistic photographs. What photographers hope to achieve through their photos is a sense of ‘have been there’ for people who haven’t been here to experience the subtlety of nature. People look at photos through human senses. They then look inside and reflect on themselves. That’s how creators draw inspiration from viewers.
