Get to know filmmaker Blake Leon:

1. What motivated you to make this film?

- It was a lot of self motivation. We wanted to show and create this world we had in our minds. We love the concept we wrote and we decided the best way to show people was to go out and create it ourselves.

2. From the idea to the finished product, how long did it take for you to make this film?

- It took 3 months to make this film. We spent two days shooting and about 2 weeks in post. It was a mission to submit it to some festivals in 2023.

3. How would you describe your film in two words!?

- Excitingly intense

4. What was the biggest obstacle you faced in completing this film?

- The biggest obstacle was finding enough background actors on such a small budget.

5. What were your initial reactions when watching the audience talking about your film in the feedback video?

- My initial reaction was excitement. It's a really cool feeling to know someone you don't know took the time to watch your film and enjoyed it. I mean that's what we're here to do.

6. When did you realize that you wanted to make films?

- When I was young. I would watch movies and say to myself, this is what I wanted to do.

7. What film have you seen the most in your life?

- Wedding Crashers.

8. What other elements of the festival experience can we and other festivals implement to satisfy you and help you further your filmmaking career?

- I think this was great. The experience has been fun.

9. You submitted to the festival via FilmFreeway. How has your experiences been working on the festival platform site?

- FilmFreeway is great. It's very convenient and user friendly.

10. What is your favorite meal?

- Steak and vegetables.

11. What is next for you? A new film?

- Next for me is another film. We are actually in post production right now.
