Director Statement
Making this film was a way for me to combine what I like about classic film noirs and bring it into a contemporary setting using modern storytelling techniques. I also wanted to explore the disgruntled-detective trope and clash it with the disarming nature of a smart young person. This film was made on a very small budget with a group of dedicated people and limited resources. This is a passion project of mine, and I have always wanted to make a great film noir inspired film like the detective novels and mystery movies I have always enjoyed.
