Director Statement
In the span of eight months, I experienced four profoundly painful life events and didn't really know how to talk about it. Men's mental health isn't really something that people discuss openly. Mirroring many of the men in my life, I isolated myself from friends determined fix myself alone. That didn't work so well. With time, close friends and family that persisted, and rock climbing I found the pieces of myself that had been torn apart and stitched them back together. Directing Projecting was a way for me to share the story of how I learned to be a better communicator and encourage other men to talk about their problems.
