Get to know the filmmaker:

1. What motivated you to make this film?
The moment I heard about their work and what they were doing in the community, I knew I wanted to tell their story.
This couple not only does an amazing job at creating and fixing audio equipment, but is also a kind and warm group of people.

2. From the idea to the finished product, how long did it take for you to make this film?
It took me around 6 to 7 months to finish this project, from the moment we started recording until the final stage of post production.

3. How would you describe your film in two words!?
I would describe it as an inspiring story

4. What was the biggest obstacle you faced in completing this film?
The biggest obstacle was time, running a company is already a very demanding job and it is hard for me to find time to do anything else.
But I was able to work with a great team, and bring this story to life, which is the most important thing.

5. What were your initial reactions when watching the audience talking about your film in the feedback video?
I was very inspired, mostly because a lot of these people don't really know too much about the subject, given the fact that this topic is very niche.
I thought it was great feedback and it definitely gave me a bigger perspective of what a normal audience member can get from the film.

6. When did you realize that you wanted to make films?
I've done a lot of sound on documentaries, but I realized I wanted to start telling stories with my own voice around 2020.

7. What film have you seen the most in your life?
I'd say on the fictional side Inglourious Basterds and on the documentary side Andy Irons: Kissed by god

8. What other elements of the festival experience can we and other festivals implement to satisfy you and help you further your filmmaking career?
I love what you guys do but I'd also love to have the in person experience.
There's nothing like watching movies on a big screen and connecting with like minded individuals.

9. You submitted to the festival via FilmFreeway. How has your experiences been working on the festival platform site?
So far it has been great! Really straight forward! I have enjoyed it a lot.

10. What is your favorite meal?
I'd say Venezuelan food is my favorite

11. What is next for you? A new film?
Besides running my audio company full time, I get to work on feature films, documentaries, TV Shows and commercials.
On the directing side of things, right now I have my second short documentary in production. I'm hoping to finish that film in the next few months and maybe start thinking of directing a feature doc in the near future.
