In an alternate 1831 Virginia, enslaved preacher Nat Turner, along with hundreds of enslaved Black people in the antebellum South, live with a horrifying truth: white townspeople and plantation owners led by the charismatic Pastor Sarx are ancient demonic beings who literally feed on Black flesh. After witnessing numerous atrocities over the years, including the most recent kidnapping of a young girl named Tabitha who is taken for a demonic ritual, Nat, his friend Sam and part-time adversary, Will go to infiltrate the church's underground lair to rescue her. This ignites a full-scale uprising/supernatural war where Nat, along with his love interest Charlotte, and Sam & Will fight back against the demon-whites.
